Container & Drum Heaters

Container Heaters, including Drum Heaters are flexible electrical resistance heaters that may be easily wrapped and secured around drums, pails and tanks. A sturdy spring and hook arrangement easily attaches these products. They are made of silicone rubber-reinforced fiberglass cloth laminated around a nickel alloy circuit. This construction provides an even heat transfer, which keeps contents at proper handling or process consistency and limits scorching or degradation of sensitive contents. Standard sizes include 5, 15, 30 and 55 gallon containers. Delta Heat can work with your requirement to make custom products.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Drum Heaters for metal containers cannot be used on non-metal drums because the higher wattage run the belts at temperatures which will melt non-metal drums; however, the non-metal version Drum Heaters may be used on metal drums that have contents requiring a gentle elevation of temperature.
  • Drum Heaters may be used out-of-doors as long as they are protected from the elements by something such as a pole barn or garage.
  • Insulating Blankets increase heating efficiency and reduce operating cost.
