Blankets
This product is an insulated temperature controlled blanket used to maintain precise temperatures, using an electronic controller. We have jackets to fit: 1gal. (3.79L); 5 gal (18.93L); 15gal. (56.78L); 30gal. (113.56L); 55gal. (208.20L); and IBC containers. The jacket covers most of the container's surface, and heating is applied from the jacket's entire surface, providing a watt density of 0.64W/in² (±0.1W/cm²). This is 4 to 8 times less than rubber band heaters, and the result is uniformed heating without hot spots. The evenly distributed heat makes it ideal for both metal and plastic containers. The product is held onto the container with 2" wide nylon straps utilizing clip-and-buckle fasteners for easy application.

Heating jackets are flexible, and can be used to prevent freezing; reduce the viscosity for soap, grease, oil, or fat (animal and plant). Excellent for the food and chemical industries, as well as other customers.

Jacket Exterior:
Heated Face : 1000D Teflon coated Nylon fabric.
External Face : 1000D Polyurethane coated Nylon fabric.
Insulation: 25mm (0.787in) NBR-PVC rubber high temperature resistance foam (UL recognized flame resistant heat insulation).
Heating Element : Two independent heating zones made with silicone insulated spiral wound resistance element stitched on Teflon/PA66fabric, each zone thermally protected by high limit thermostat
Control Housing: IP65, 180x130x92 mm with transparent door, finger access protected connection block, cable glands output, built in fuse and on/off switch.
Controller: The two independent zones temperature control is provided by two intelligent electronic controllers, PID auto-tune. Display in °C or °F, with decimal point and pt100 resistance temperature.
Electrical Connection: Internal connection block is suitable for cables up to 3x AWG10 (3x6 mm²).
Attaching to Container: Full circumference 2" (50mm) wide nylon straps webbing with quick release adjustable buckles that allow for easy circumference adjustment.
Plug : 115V models come with a 15amp, 3 prong, NEMA plug. 240V models come with a pigtail.
